What’s your first Passion?

On the road again. It’s been a while since I traveled by bike, and it gets even better. I get to spend some quality time with what feels like a lifelong friend. And although we know and love each other for such a long time we never managed to go on a trip together.

But NOW is the time. No excuses. No broken leg that comes into our way.

Did you know that riding a motorbike was my very first passion? Way before I found a yoga practice, even longer before I even had a look into yoga. Today I have to say because of this first love I was able to let yoga into my heart in the first place.

I picked the quote for a reason. If not for the solitude on a bike (without the intercoms and the voice of the GPS navigation in the helmet) I would have never been able to actually learn how to BE in the present, to actually PAY attention, to SHUT out all unnecessary thoughts because well, riding a motorbike is extremely unforgiving.

The second best to this experience is – at least for me – the practice of yoga. Your yoga practice is forgiving. Extremely forgiving. And the best thing is I never heard of anyone dying because of it. So, what do you think is the best way to learn how to actually be in the present when being inattentive, ignorant, incompetent or even stupid without taking the risk of dying? Excactly, Yoga.

Come practice with me to stay focused, to sooth your mind, feel a bit more content with yourself and enjoy a nice Savasana at the end when …

Physio meets Yoga.

When I think of it .. Savasana is called Corpse Pose, in German Die Totenhaltung. It’s purpose is to prepare you to die, without fear, without panic so that you can welcome the next stage of your being.

Thank you for your faith in me to guide a little piece of your journey.
