The year is coming to an end. Nature is closing down. It’s getting still if you listen closely. Try to ignore the distractions a.k.a. aggressive ads on social media, TV and on the radio. Try to distance yourself – even if only for a moment – from all the wanna-be obligations. You will feel it. It gets still.
In seed-time learn, in harvest teach, in winter enjoy.
William Blake
The inner dialogue.
Winter is the time to reflect.
Time to let all the things sink in,
to store what is worth storing,
to get rid of the things that weigh us down.
Enjoy the lightness in doing so.
Enjoy the pause in nature to pause yourself.
Take a breath and feel the difference.
The importance of reflection.
By reflecting on your thoughts, feelings, and actions, you can develop a deeper understanding of yourself. This allows you to recognize your strengths and weaknesses and improve your decision-making processes. It helps you clarify your goals and values and set your priorities. Additionally, it can help to identify and overcome negative thought (and movement) patterns, which can lead to better mental health. Overall, inner reflection can contribute to personal growth, self-confidence and a more fulfilling life.
What to expect, when Physio Meets Yoga.
No matter how experienced you are as a yoga practitioner, you will be challenged and encouraged in my class, which is based on functional movement patterns. The class is based on a finely curated yoga method that addresses the physical deficiencies of modern life, and uses the internal dialogue to find freedom in movement.
The class begins with seated meditation to allow you time & space to arrive on your mat. We prepare the body for the bigger movements to come in the warm-up phase following the developmental stages. After – what I call – igniting the pilot fire we create heat, set the foundation and build our house from the bottom. We use various yoga positions grounded in the principals of physical therapy and neurodevelopmental training that speaks to the body’s functional stability and mobility. Both static and dynamic moves and poses are used to promote strength, mobility and adaptability. The class ends with calmer poses and the final pose Savasana to bring your body and mind into harmony.
The house is more than the sum of its rooms.
On the mat you can learn how to prioritize, focus and how to bring it all together. To calm your mind prepares the body to work as a whole. And as you know already, how you move on your mat is how you move in life.

Find your balance on the mat to find balance in life when Physio Meets Yoga.
