It seems that I established a new tradition. The tradition of getting sick the week before Christmas. Since I haven’t had the chance (or the energy) to wish you a Merry Christmas I wanted to grab the chance to share something with you I found right before Christmas. It made me ponder why it is that we as humans somehow lost it.
Someone you know is preparing for their first Christmas without their husband, wife, mother, father, brother, sister, daughter, son.
Unknown
Others are preparing for their last.
Regardless of the specifics, remember that this season of joy is often-times a season of sorrow for many.
Be kind. Be generous. Give love. Give help.
If nothing else, just don’t give people a hard time.
Not only because it is Christmas or a new year is about to begin should we be kind towards each other.
We are made for community.
Don’t give yourself and others a hard time.
At any time.
With love,
